Joe Jonas and Co. prove why they really are your new favorite band.

From the moment "Cake in the Ocean" hit social media, DNCE have been literally all over the place. From the ridiculousness of their music video, directed by Gigi Hadid and featuring The Fat Jew, to the undeniably catching beats of the California quartet's music, DNCE is that fun band you want to party hard with and worry about the consequences later.

Currently on tour, DNCE made a stop in the Big Apple to play Webster Hall on Monday night (November 16). And although they've already performed in New York City, this gig sold out in minutes. Myspace got a chance to be part of the action and here are our Top 8 favorite moments from the show.

Powers Warming Up the Crowd

The night kicked off with retro pop rock duo Powers. Hailing from New York City, the show felt like a homecoming of sorts for them. The onstage chemistry between Mike Del Rio and Crista Ru was so electric, and the two looked so at home onstage. Performing tracks from their EP, Legendary, they also surprised fans with a few new tunes. And while many in the crowd admitted that they didn't know who Powers were, by the end of their set, many made sure to add them to their playlists.

Joe Made It Rain During "Pay My Rent"

DNCE are putting themselves out there as the band you just want to have fun with, and they brought the spirit of their tracks off Swaay to the stage. From the lifesize cutouts of celebrities and themselves to a shopping cart that stood as the keyboard stand, DNCE are random. And they like it. While performing the funky "Pay My Rent," a few people from the crowd started throwing dollar bills onto the stage, which Joe then grabbed and made it rain toward the end of the song.

Prince, James Brown and The Police Covers

Since they've only recently released their EP, the band needed to fill their set with some more tracks. So why not a few covers? DNCE put their own spin on Prince's "Kiss," "Roxanne" by The Police and James Brown's "Get On Up." And although some of the younger fans didn't know the James Brown track, the rendition was so lively that you couldn't help but groove to it.

The Epic TLC Medley

If there was one section that had everyone singing at the top of their lungs, it was the band's medley of TLC tracks. Covering "Waterfalls" and "No Scrubs," it was something that many, including security, didn't expect but was well-received. Still on the fence? See how they did below.

Signs, Toothbrushes and Bras. Oh My!

With the craziness that surrounded the Jonas Brothers back in the day, Joe was clearly unfazed by the lengths that his fans would go to get near him. While he's trying to move from teen heartthrob to rockstar, he couldn't stop the young ladies from grabbing at him while he leaned toward them during the performance. And the fans came bearing gifts. Not only did they have fun signs and even a giants foam finger, but they also tossed toothbrushes (during a song of the same name) with their contact info on them, and bras, onto the stage.

Still Grateful to the Fans

After years of fan hysteria, you would think that Joe would be used to it by now. However, DNCE is a new endeavor for him and is in a different (and dare we say dirtier) route compared to his Jonas Brothers days. So the fan response is something he can't help but be grateful for. And to show his appreciation during the concert, he grabbed a few lucky fans phones and made selfie videos like the one below—a memento they'll keep forever.

"Naked" at the Bar

During their performance of "Naked," an unreleased track that everyone in the crowd seemed to know, Joe wanted to get closer to the audience. So he hopped offstage and climbed onto the bar to perform some of the song.

They are the Champions

Instead of just walking off after their last song, Joe brought a big trophy that he poured the rest of his drink into. Then his bassist Cole Whittle bent backwards, and Joe dumped it on his band member as Queen's "We Are the Champions" played in the background and everyone sang along.
