The first Gods of Egypt trailer is here, and boy is it silly. Directed by Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, Knowing), the film's full of special effects, vibrant colors and pale Englishmen acting as Egyptian gods. Gerard Butler plays Set, an evil God-King that steals the throne and ushers in darkness over the country, while Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, our protagonist, plays Horus—a powerful god willing to stop the cruel ruler. From the looks of the first trailer, this is going to be one hell of a ride. Watch below, and look out for Gods of Egypt in theaters February 26.
