A month after Joe Jonas revealed his new band, DNCE, they just revealed the visual for their breakout single, "Cake in the Ocean." While they could have gone in a number of directions with this video, the foursome literally brought the lyrics to life. Set on a beach, the “First Annual International Cake Fight Championship" was taking place and put The Fat Jew toe-to-toe with a gang of swimsuit-donning ladies, who were ready to fight. And to make the video even more ridiculous, there is a massive strawberry shortcake on the "battleground" to be used as the teams' ammo in the competition. While Fat Jew put up a good fight, he couldn't stand up to all the cakey goodness aimed at him and lost. But he didn't look too sad about it because he later joined DNCE onstage to finish off the rest of the song.

If you're wondering who came up with the genius behind the video, the credit all goes to Joe's girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid, who co-directed the clip with Black Coffee.

"It was her idea for the video and we were like fuck it, you should do the video, and she just ran with it," he told People.
