So let's move on, please.

Selena Gomez wants you to know that she is 23. "Disappointing seeing interviews I've done recently that sound like the exact same interview I did when I was 16," she says on Twitter. "I just want to release the album already.. I'm ready for people to know who I am NOW."

Selena is referring to her debut Interscope release Revival, out October 9 and featuring lead single "Good For You." She's already started doing press for it, though as Selenators noticed, a new Sunday Times Style cover story barely mentions it. Its tagline? "Bye Bye Bieber," as in Justin, who she broke up with in 2012. "The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and instantly repeat it," Selena even tells the magazine.

Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have also called out media outlets this year for dwelling on their past relationships. "I'm not Big Sean's ex. I'm not Niall Horan's 'possible new girl,'" the latter said. "I'm Ariana Grande—and if that's not interesting enough, don't talk to me."
