The Tree Pose called as Vrksasana in Sanskrit, it is a basic yoga pose used to conduce balance and centering. The Sanskrit name comes from the words, Vrksa means tree, and asana means pose. The Tree Pose reinforce and tones the leg muscles, ankles and feet as well as inner thigh. It reopens up the muscles of chest and shoulders as well as helpful core musculature, particularly of the hips and spine.
