The pop star, 26, just dropped her first single since leaving treatment in December 2018 — and it’s a dance anthem called “I Can’t Get Enough” that also features J Balvin.

For the new song, released on Thursday morning, Gomez teamed up with Balvin, record producer Benny Blanco and Tainy, also a producer.

The infectious chorus, sung by Gomez, goes: ” ‘Cause I can’t get enough / Yeah, I can’t get enough / Yeah, I can’t get enough for your love, give me some more, love it / I can’t get enough, yeah / ‘Cause I can’t get enough.”

Fans had been wondering if Gomez was gearing up to release new music, especially after she was spotted leaving a music studio in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Gomez fans are anxiously awaiting a new LP from the songstress. Her last album, Revival, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in October 2015, spawning hit singles “Good for You,” “Same Old Love” and “Hands to Myself.”

There have been collaborations on other songs since, including Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” (2016), Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” (2017), Marshmello’s “Wolves” (2017) and DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki” (2018). And a few one-off singles of her own in 2017, including “Bad Liar” and “Fetish.”

Of course, Gomez’s time away from music has been busy — with acting roles in a slew of projects, including Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. She’s also had health complications, including a kidney transplant she underwent in 2017 because of her ongoing battle with lupus.

Back in October, Gomez was hospitalized twice for a low white blood cell count, which can be a side effect for kidney transplant patients. During her second visit, Gomez suffered a panic attack and subsequently headed to a treatment center on the East Coast where she underwent dialectical behavior therapy — a therapy method designed to help try to identify, and then change, negative thinking and behavioral patterns.

“She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point,” a source explained told PEOPLE at the time.

Since leaving treatment in December 2018, Gomez has been spending quality time with her loved ones (including longtime BFF Taylor Swift) while slowly returning to social media, from which she had taken a brief hiatus.

“Selena’s feeling much better and looking forward to getting back to normalcy,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “She’s spending time with friends and family.”
