The newly unveiled cut scene from the massive-grossing horror film, based on Stephen King’s cult novel and follow-up TV adaptation of the same name, shows a development involving the character Henry Bowers. Warning, the below features spoilers.

Rather than simply killing his father, the latest clip shows that Henry then went on to cut the throats of his friends Belch and Victor. 

This isn’t the only part to be cut. Last year, Bill Skarsgård, who plays Pennywise in ‘IT’, revealed that there was a “really, really disturbing” flashback scene that never made it into the final movie. 

“There was a scene we shot that was a flashback from the 1600s, before Pennywise [was Pennywise],” he said. “The scene turned out really, really disturbing. And I’m not the clown. I look more like myself.”

“It’s very disturbing, and sort of a backstory for what IT is, or where Pennywise came from,” Skarsgård added. “That might be something worth exploring in the second one. The idea is the IT entity was dormant for thousands and thousands of years. The [flashback] scene hints on that.”

Meanwhile, work on the sequel ‘IT: Chapter 2‘ is now well underway – with the movie scheduled for release on September 6, 2019.
