Emily Bell wants to have a conversation with her listeners, and she aims to do so with this month's release of her album, Kali. Named after the Hindu deity of destruction, Kali is Bell’s five-track call to arms for all of the strong women she’s able to reach and empower through her music, reminiscent of the feminist, female-fronted pop-rock bands of the early 2000s. “Anger is a catalyst for change. If you can find your truth, then the movement will follow,” she says.
