Trading in That Orange Jumpsuit For a White Dress

Anyone who walks up the aisle to “This Is How We Do It” deserves an A+ for awesomeness. Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley, aka Poussey, exchanged vows and said “I do” alongside her longtime girlfriend and show writer, Lauren Morelli, this weekend. The pair had the cute idea to incorporate their fondness for Funfetti cake into their decor, creating a confetti-themed event to share with their closest friends and family in Palm Springs, CA.

Wiley and Morelli met while filming OITNB, during which Morelli made the difficult decision to divorce her husband in 2014 after coming to the realization that she was in fact gay. She unexpectedly found solace in Wiley, and the rest is history. We’ll miss seeing Wiley on the next season of OITNB, but for anyone lucky enough to have or know someone with a Hulu account, you can catch her on The Handmaid’s Tale. Congratulations you two!
