Listen to these Berliners praise their city, and start packing.

Creative wandering is something every artist deals with on a daily basis. But there are ways to put an end to some of your struggles. It begins with settling in a place where art is celebrated; your neighbors are equally daring, and rent won’t cost you an arm and a leg. If you're looking to move somewhere new to take a stab at your musical career, we suggest Berlin. Here's 10 reasons why.

It’s Multicultural

“People from all over the world are coming here to enjoy what the capital of music and nightlife has to offer,” says Sado Opera, Russian-born Berlin-based raunchy electro-punk cabaret that took KISS’ idea of black-and-white-painted faces, added some notorious Russian debauchery and splashed European electronics all over their wild offerings.

An act like this is surely not everyone’s cup of tea, but they felt more than welcomed in a diverse place like Berlin. Hell, they even invited Conan O’Brien on stage. “It is amazing to have a possibility to see how the people from all the different backgrounds, cultures and identities fuse at the dance-floor,” the band adds. “And you can see how your music makes them all dance with each other.”
