We bring the WWE party to these cities that are ready to host epic celebrations!
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
If you’re talking wrestling up in the “Great White North,” it’s usually about Montreal, Toronto or Calgary. Poor Vancouver never gets any love. Maybe because it’s tucked away on the West Coast or doesn’t have a long lineage of great wrestling talent. Whatever the case may be, the scenic “Hollywood” of the North certainly can deliver an awesome show and deserves a chance to do so.
While Toronto has hosted WrestleMania twice now (6 & 18), no other Canadian city has been given an opportunity to put on the event. Vancouver is one of Canada’s most prominent metropolises. It’s hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, so Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium is more than capable of holding a massive crowd for an international event.
To say Vancouver hasn’t been on WWE’s radar is a bit of an understatement considering the city hasn’t even had a WWE PPV since 1998’s Rock Bottom: In Your House. Vince and his crew need to at least consider the city as a real viable option for future events.
