Icelandic indie rockers take us on the road for this one.

Instead of going for a major cinematic production, Hide Your Kids wanted to go for something more straightforward with their new video for "Stop Scaring Me." The Icelandic band take us on the road with them and show us what it's like to be on tour. From hotel-hopping to soundcheck, the Gardabaer-Reykjavik-based indie rock quintet make us feel like we're right there with them.

And as for the song, the band reveal that it came together without a hitch. "An old idea of a song was made into a new song in a few days," Hide Your Kids tell Myspace. "The inspiration for the lyrics could be sourced to Daniel’s (singer) experience working as a bartender at a cocktail bar in Reykjavik, where he’d see rich businessmen come there to get wasted while leaving their personal life back home. They’d fake their happiness with the illusion that alcohol and other substance can give you.  The vibe and sound of the song could be described as elaborate while being rustic. We experimented with new strange sounds but still wanted the song to have a generic vibe and our own signature characteristics in the sound and vibe."

Hide Your Kids are putting the finishing touches on their new album, which they hope to drop in 2017. In the meantime, check out their video for "Stop Scaring Me" below.
