The "Perfect Illusion" singer dishes on new album and 'A Star is Born' reboot.

After what feels like ages since we've heard new music from Lady Gaga, the release of her new single, "Perfect Illusion," has sparked buzz about her forthcoming album. She sat down with Z100's Elvis Duran on Monday morning (September 12) to chat about what she's been working on in the studio for the past six months.

"Every song on this album is completely autobiographical... These songs are implicitly related to things relating to my life," she told Elvis (via Billboard).

Teaming up with Mark Ronson, Tame Impala, Josh Homme and BloodPop on the production side, the currently untitled new LP will also feature the likes of Beck, Father John Misty and Florence Welch. She recounted her time with Florence and their work on the song, "Hey Girl. "

"Florence and I when we were working together we laughed, we cried, we hugged each other," she said.

According to the interview, Gaga opens the song with "Hey girl can you hear me / Are you holdin' out your heart," while Florence responds with "Hey girl can you feel me / Sometimes I go too far."

She also chatted about working with Bradley Cooper, who's directing and co-starring in a remake of A Star is Born. "Bradley Cooper is amazing to work with, he's so talented and he's so fun," she said and also revealed she will be executive producing the soundtrack and also performed an impromptu duet with Elvis on the film's iconic tune, "Evergreen."
