Timberlake's latest single 'Can't Stop the Feeling' rekindled his interest in a new album.

Justin Timberlake appeared at San Diego’s ComicCon Thursday to chat about his latest gig in DreamsWorks’ newest animated movie Trolls, Variety reports.

The 35-year-old pop artist stars as the voice of Branch, a troll who lives in a utopia of happiness with a bunch of other troll friends — played by Anna Kendrick, James Cordon, Gwen Stefani, Zooey Deschanel and Russell Brand. But their jubilation renders them delicious prey to the big bad Bergin race, and turns Branch into a cranky cynic.

The film’s soundtrack “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” is Timberlake’s latest single, and the singer-turned-actor said the record got him back into the studio following the birth of his son Silas, who is 15 months old.

“Maybe it’s the difference between 20s and 30s,” he said. “The difference between ‘must achieve,’ and now it’s like, ‘Work smarter, not harder.’ You want to have time for your family.”

Timberlake said the track rekindled his interest in a new album, which he teased to Entertainment Weekly, could arrive in the next few years. Although don’t get your hopes up just yet, Timberlake didn’t want to give too much away.

“I don’t want to say anything because I’ve put my foot in my mouth before about it and then I took seven years,” he said.
