The deep dive into the life of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar returns September 2.
Pablo Escobar is still on the run in Season Two of Netflix's Narcos.
"Four thousand soldiers. Tens of thousands of rounds fired. And a bunch of fucking helicopters," says the narrator in the new trailer. "There was no way Pablo Escobar was getting out of this one, right?"
The Colombian drug lord did successfully escape, though, and that's where this season of Narcos begins. Expect lots of police chases, explosions and deception for the second season of the Golden Globe-nominated drama.
The 10-episode season will be the last focusing on Escobar, according to star Wagner Moura.
"It's all about Pablo on the run," explained Moura to Chelsea Handler on her talk show Chelsea (via Entertainment Weekly). "It's from the day Pablo escapes to his death."
