Take a first look at the Beatles-inspired clip.

Remember the days of American Bandstand when up-and-coming bands would perform live for hundreds of screaming fans — some of whom probably passed out? Well, The Teen Age wanted to capture that same vibe with their video for "Liquor Store."

"The video falls within our current EP's theme of having an aesthetic throwback to 'classic' era pop and garage/rock 'n' roll in our visual presentation and sound, as we did with our last Ramones-inspired video," the Brooklyn-based band tells Myspace. "We love the fun, youthful innocence in those old Beatles clips, and when paired with Nimblefox's amazing digital effects and our darker lyrics, the resulting video sums us up pretty accurately and puts a new spin on bubblegum garage."

Directed by Nimblefox Productions, the black and white video takes us back in time. And as fun as this video is, you'll quickly see how brief the tune is — something that the band strives for in their music.

"We like shorter songs in general because they're to the point and more memorable when they're fleeting. Our ideal pop song is between 1:30-3 minutes," The Teen Age reveal. "Most of our favorite doo-wop and girl group songs are in that range, as was almost every Ramones song."

"Liquor Store" is off their EP, Bad Seed, and they will be playing the Footlight in Queens, NY on July 22. Following the gig, they'll be hitting the studio to work on a new single.
