Rapper premieres the colorful new visual for his latest single.

Los Angeles rapper Vritra aka Hal Williams is on the cusp of releasing his new album Yellowing on July 22. In advance of his drop date, he's premiering this colorful new music video for the hyper short track "Gypsy" on Myspace. And yes, there's yellow!

Shot in Long Beach, the video showcases him performing alongside rail tracks, and the color scheme isn't the only thing experimental about the track. According to Williams, "Gypsy" is a story as old as time in the sense that he adapted it from an ancient Roman myth we all know. "It's the plot of Hercules," he says before adding that his song is the "slightly abridged" version. But it's more than just a tale of Gods. "It's a love song. I like love songs. It came together so fast, from thought to execution exactly the way that I wanted [and] gave me the confidence to experiment again."
