The Atlanta trap rap star was released from prison yesterday.

On May 26, Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane was released from prison four months early, albeit after serving since 2013. Hours later, he returned with a new track, "First Day Out Tha Feds." Produced by Mike WiLL Made It, the monstrous track will have listeners simultaneously feeling scared of Gucci and for Gucci.

The trap rap star sounds as fit as can be, particularly compared to the mealy-mouthed mixtapes from when he was in jail. (Those projects are of unreleased material from before he was locked up.) But he also sounds terrified. He realizes that, now that he isn't locked up, his enemies can actually hunt him down.

"I did some things to some people that was downright evil," he raps. "Is it karma coming back to me, so much drama / My own mama turned her back on me, and that's my mama."
