The Kardashians and Kardashian associates were all over the news this weekend.
While Amber Rose was fighting for women's safety on one side of the world, Kim Kardashian was being robbed at gunpoint on the other. Here's what you missed over the weekend.
Amber Rose Gets Slutty
Amber Rose and a few of her famous friends gathered together for a very good cause this past Saturday. Following the overwhelming support from last year, the model held her second annual SlutWalk in Los Angeles’ Pershing Square. Thousands joined Rose in an effort to shed light on society’s double standards for sexually active individuals, derogatory labels and the ongoing controversy surrounding rape and sexual violence. The rules to participate were simple: no bigotry of any kind. Everyone is equal and everyone is beautiful. Supporters arrived dressed in anything from everyday wear to lingerie, some donned ornate costumes, and others made the walk in high heels.
Hosted by Rose, Perez Hilton and more, the event featured multiple DJs; a fashion show; a panel of speakers ranging from doctors to authors — many of whom are personally involved in promoting sexual health awareness — and a ton of musical performances. Rose, who had been publicly victimized the year prior by ex-boyfriend Kanye West and ex-husband Wiz Khalifa for being a former stripper and comfortable with her sexual freedom, seemed in much better spirits this time around as she and other participants walked through the streets of Downtown LA, holding signs and wearing clothing that said things like “Walk of NO shame,” “Without consent it’s rape” and “Don’t tell me to cover up.” Some of the boldest ladies even went shirtless and used their torsos to colorfully display their demands for equality.
An Apple A Day Won't Keep the Crazies Away
Apple stores are quite possibly the most frustrating places on the planet. For devices that are supposed to be so “user friendly,” needing any kind of servicing without product insurance is a nightmare that no one wants to endure. One customer learned that the hard way this weekend. The unidentified man entered a store in Dijon, France with an issue that seemed to be beyond a solution. When he demanded a refund but was denied his request, all hell broke loose.
Conveniently armed with a fist-sized steel ball used in the bowling game pétanque, and the accompanying glove, the man calmly walks the length of the store before grabbing the display iPhones and smashing them one at a time. Employees try to calm the man down, and one customer is able to speak to him while recording a video of the incident, but he basically states that his actions are the result of being taken advantage of by Apple.
He then begins using the metal sphere to destroy nearby Macbooks before making his way over to more awaiting iPhones. By the time security arrives, it’s estimated that the man had wrecked around $56,000 worth of merchandise in the span of just a few minutes. Once escorted out by security, he almost escaped but was apprehended again. Moral of the story: always invest in AppleCare — it’s much cheaper than having to be bailed out of jail.
Tyga's Fishy Money
Who says you can’t keep bankrolling a lavish lifestyle when the IRS is investigating your finances? It certainly wasn’t Tyga, because he’s still spending money like it grows on trees. The "Rack City" rapper made a special guest appearance on the Animal Planet show Tanked, which is essentially the fish tank version of MTV’s Pimp My Ride.

In detailing his desired underwater habitat, he tells the hosts “I wanted to do something like a bank vault. Something that symbolizes money, like racks all in the tank.” Those hosts gave Kylie Jenner’s beau what he wanted and more, which was really professional of them considering Tyga and his friend wouldn’t even help them carry the damn thing inside, choosing to “supervise” instead. The saltwater aquarium is over 72 gallons, decked out in coral reefs, and wouldn’t be complete without literal stacks of cash. Mmmhmmm, that happened.
While we can only estimate how much the project must’ve cost him, it was probably not the smartest financial decision that King Gold Chains could’ve made. This new expenditure comes after having a few cars repossessed this year alone, and most recently having to deal with late payments on his mother’s vehicle.
Just a few weeks ago, it was made public that Jenner may have to give disposition in a lawsuit against the rapper regarding his excessive spending, since he currently owes famous jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills $200,000 and just recently settled a $480,000 dispute in late rent with his former landlord. Yet he still found the time (and funds) to gift the youngest Jenner with a massive diamond promise ring and buy matching diamond Rolexes. Here’s hoping the 26-year-old gets both his priorities and finances straightened out.
Kim K.'s Parisian Problem
Kim Kardashian’s week was already going strangely, as the so-called celebrity “prankster” Vitalii Sediuk (yes, the very same douchebag that Gigi Hadid bravely elbowed in the face a few days ago) kissed her on her butt as she walked a red carpet at Paris Fashion Week.

Sadly, she found herself down on her luck again as news broke late Sunday night that Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her room at the No Address Hotel.
According to reports, Kardashian spent her day attending multiple fashion shows before accompanying older sister Kourtney to a dinner party. She returned back to the hotel around 2:30am, when several men dressed as police officers snuck in through a private entrance, forcing the concierge personnel to show them to Kardashian’s room. Once inside, they tied her up and locked her in the bathroom.
The unidentified assailants made off with over $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million dollar ring and two cell phones. Kanye West, who was in New York and set to perform at The Meadows music festival, left the stage after performing for less than 30 minutes, citing a family emergency.
