The pop icon's impending comeback looks promising.

Janet Jackson's impending comeback looks to be promising. Today she posted a snippet of a new song called "The Great Forever" — what sounds like a rhythmic pop anthem where she reminds herself to trust her instincts, and no one else's. A lyric sheet shows that producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are involved, after having first worked with Jackson on Control. (For that 1986 release, Jackson decided to work with someone besides her showbiz father, Joe.) It also confirms that Jackson's new album, featuring "No Sleeep," shares the same title as her world tour: Unbreakable. How fitting.

Listen to Jackson's "The Great Forever" snippet here, see her lyric sheet below and be sure to also check out Elle France's behind-the-scenes video of her Unbreakable album cover shoot.
