His first new music in two years is out August 28.

Justin Bieber's new single "What Do You Mean" is out next week. To build anticipation, the pop superstar has had famous friends like Mariah Carey, Ellen DeGeneres and Shaq help promote the song on social media. Yesterday, however, he tried something new. He direct-messaged Beliebers on Twitter with one lyric each, plus a clock graphic to show where he sings it during the song's runtime. These fans freaked out ("OMFJSJDHDJKSJDJF I AM CRYING") but then got to work, piecing together the snippets until they had the entire song figured out.

Meanwhile, Bieber has been filming the "What Do You Mean" video for the past 26 hours and counting—that's what he said on Twitter, anyway. Featured actor John Leguizamo says that the video will be out the same day as the song (August 28).

See the lyrics and a behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot below.
