Her reps says she is "unwell," and new FB posts show she's still mad.

After posting disturbing messages on Facebook about allegedly taking "an overdose" yesterday (November 29), Sinead O'Connor has reportedly been taken in for medical assistance after being found "safe and sound" by the police.

The Irish singer checked into a hotel yesterday under a fake name where she then posted what looked like a suicide note on Facebook.

"I have taken an overdose," she wrote. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name [sic] If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out I was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known."

Looking through Sinead's Facebook feed, she was open about the ongoing custody battle over her younger children and being accused of alleged child abuse. She responded candidly to these allegations by saying, "Anyone in any doubt as to my fitness as a mother is welcome to consult with family services, who have several times confirmed to me in writing that there is no reason why I should not be around my sons, and that I am absolutely a fit mother. The last e mail being only the day before yesterday! Clearly my elder children and their partners and their fathers haven't bothered asking social services. But fancy themselves better qualified."

Pitchfork reported that reps informed them that she "is unwell and receiving treatment."

UPDATE: Sinead O'Connor's Facebook page has been deactivated upon the urging of her loved ones.
