Taken aback by the news yesterday, I simply couldn’t express myself, and I was left speechless all day. One of those whose lifetime achievement proved african music never ever stopped impacting the music of the world… We believed this giant - this genuine african “Miles Davis” to many artists - could live forever or, at least, not leave this way.
