  • Just finished my bio. and there was a lot to think about having been a photographer for 40 some years. Journeyman in darkroom procedures and a late bloomer in digital. Took a while to master all the menus in the Nikon D300. I was going to buy a Nikon D3 but found that for $2000.00 less I could get a camera that would do all that i wanted without the large outlay of cash.Glad to be on Myspace and hope to hear from Yourspace soon. • Just joining myspace so that I can complete a social media blitz of the past several weeks. I have moved my photographic schedule around so that I can go to Idaho in August on a photoshoot of rivers, mountains and lakes. I have been a photographer (professional) since 1969. I did Naval Intel. photography while serving 2 combat tours in Vietnam. That left me here now at 66 years old. No matter, still going strong.Hope to meet some new friends and perhaps share photography with those interested. There are better photographers than me and one heck of a lot worse than me. Kurt Vonnegut said it best, "So It Goes". The photo is of the ship I served on. USS Jouett DLG-29. Nikon Photomic FTn was the camera. Still have it and use it.
