This is one of the major reasons I'm running for president. Nobody else in our government seems to care about manufacturing in this country. They are focusing in servant/service jobs over manufacturing jobs. 
Manufacturing is how a country makes a living. Without manufacturing a country can't grow and the only way for a country to grow is to build and sell its products here and abroad. 
This simple pie chart tells the whole story of manufacturing in America. For every country we export to, we import more. We can't survive as a country by doing this.
