Health Symposium
“Building Providers’ Capacity for
the Holistic Care of Trans Clients”
The Trans Health Symposium is the first of its kind in the Southeastern
Region of the United States. The Symposium will assist providers in building capacity
through medical cultural competency to interact with and medically treat Trans
individuals with care and respect. Workshops are designed to educate, encourage,
and strengthen relationships among those who directly affect the daily lives of
the Trans community.
