million for substantive losses and another $26 million in vindictive accidents.
Tribunals can grant punitive damages if they consider the person or company
being accused acted inappropriately.
Michael Weinkowitz, who is Hartman’s attorney
states the verdict was reversed on a “narrow issue” associated to the doctor
who prescribed the drug and not based on whether or not the drug itself was
