God is good, All the time.

O Lord, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardon that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.Where there is hatred, pour love;where there is injury, pour pardon;where there is doubt, pour faith;where there is despair, pour hope;where there is darkness, shine your light;where there is sadness, pour joy.

God of peace, dawn reminds us that your mercies are new every morning. You have been merciful to us despite our sin. Teach us such mercy. Open our eyes to see the violence we condone with our silences and with our consumption. We give thanks that repentance is the beginning of change and resurrection.
