I’m Chinmayuri , from Guwahati , Assam
After my schooling I was in search for a college that
supports innovation, new technologies and idea rather than just academics and
text books. My search started from Guwahati, my home toy and ended at RCET
College, one of the best engineering colleges in Kanyakumari district,
southernmost location in India.
The college had a very jovial ambience. It was not like the
usual Colleges where academics and labs were given importance. Rather they had
a separate department for seminars and projects. They welcomed all the ideas
from students and supported them to the limit. This was the main attraction for
me. They never let down an idea saying that it is impossible. They had a motto
that innovation comes from madness.
The college faculties were very polite. They used real life
examples to teach us. It was not just teaching, they wanted to make us
understand such that we never forget it. Every possible topic was connected to
real life examples.
