Went carping in 71 degree Robert G Martin Lake this evening in the rain. Threw out corn for chum, then hooked a carp that swam into a tree, then escaped with two of my hooks. Landed a redeared slider on my last cast of the day with canned whole kernel corn bait on 12 lb test line. Saw a sandpiper flying over the lake.
