My grandmother died, and the black rat was the only hallucination (other than a spider that was probably small and a squirrel blurry out the cornery of my eye) I recall being in schizophrenia treatment for. My dead grandmother, and an ambiguous diagnosis of the probability of schizophrenia, bluntly mark the memory out of the context of evidence in memory of racism on any other point than barely overhead (unconfirmed... like an under the breath) rumour that someone with an initial name may have taken my statements as racist, if not his approximal friends. As if I'd used the N word in reporting the hallucination.
