TITLE: WHEN DID JESUS BECOME REAL IN MY LIFE?
 
Christ became real to SHEILA 
WILLIAMS  back in… 1987. Christ
came into this POET’S heart and life and became reality and hope all these
years. Christ’s substance and existence in my life has formed my peace, my joy,
and my hope for a future with Him in Heaven. My personal life, my marriage, my
livelihood, my children, and everything that I am… are in Christ’s hands. My
eyes are on Him every day. Christ got my attention when I attempted to take my
own life.  Yes, a spirit of great, deep
and dark depression permeated my life since childhood.  Yes, I was raised first in a Baptist church
under the guardianship of my grandparents; this church did not know about
deliverance.  Then when Dora (my
birthmother) married Jimmy my stepdad; we attended the Church of Christ where
raising of hands saying amen or any other Pentecostal act was prohibited.  My stepdad was Youth Pastor, however he was
doing things to me in private  that I

Freedoms is priceless! As our country celebrates it’s freedom this July 4th, we need to utilize every opportunity to share the message of true freedom - freedom from our sins, the eternal freedom that Jesus Christ fought for and won for us on the cross!
