When you take a look at the big picture in our world today, it can be easy for some to become discouraged. Everywhere people are being abused; murders are commonplace, and family members are separated from each other. Yet much of the world remains optimistic, and that is a good thing. I think humanity is, as a rule, naturally good. I have found when you really get to know people, they're usually pretty decent, accommodating, and eager for friendship. Those exceptions to the natural rule, I believe, were formed or altered into their current malicious or violent state. How? The answer: By either being abused themselves, or by being subjected to overly-violent behavior or violent visual material. This is because all experiences and encounters have some effect on the human person and his mind.
