  • Panoply of life forgotten
    By james a. galgano

Life cried eternal deaths within passing time deferred
There loved ones met their death within shadows so uncured
Like some un-described disease where one wonders for true
    light
By chance one day soon in time beneath each and every night
Though moon shadows quiver left to wonder what might never
    be
Lost within the foolish vernacular of some wanton like
    disease
Though no cure is ever found words from empty pulpit spoken
    as profound
Echo from humble walls within sacristy less than divine
    reviewed
Where once upon one thought if found truth would be renewed
    so to speak
Such is the glimpse of forgotten rhyme lost upon descending
    peak
There sun will never find each lie where words offered seem
    so weak
There destiny sought wavers like foolish clowns within life’s
    three ring circus
Though there may be some thought profound in the end there
    is no purpose

  • Foolish wants
    By james a. galgano

Within every foolish second passing beyond time
The world crowds upon our every head undaunted
Ever so haunted within each cavernous wall designed
Like shadows upon descending wall life is pretended
Within every lie where foolish words distraught preach
To the humble masses in time we say we know but never meet
Like some forbidden words given as if they were sacrosanct
    divine
There such diatribes are given as truth but never meet that
    dotted line

  • Here awaiting reply forever
    By james a. galgano
There is no hope within dreams demurred defiled
All worries cling to vines so often now un-reconciled
Lest we cling to irreparable lies no forever beseeched
As if upon empty pulpit in time words never so preached
There words fall like tears almost like rain love is leeched
Within every waterfall of lost woes one waits never reached
By some foolish query never heard but treated as if divine
Where such idle hopes lost still remain within forbidden lies
As if which endless worries clung to vine beyond hopeful eyes
Without endless doubt gathered like clouds clinging over head
One remains awaiting one sweat answer we never will dread

  • Where we wait to fall
    By james a. galgano
Where is the hope clinging eternally from ascending vine
To gather ones thoughts and hopes which accumulate in time
What is the reward we seek for all our endless endeavors sought
Will we find the dreams we seek or in some nefarious web be caught
Who is the person we want in our moments of doubt soon to find
To guide us through the endless maze where our words shouted are never heard
Often when left in this predicament we feel we are victims of the absurd
Like we are but players within a play unwritten where conclusion is cast
Yet we never know the part we play yet practice each line as if it were our last
Why on earth every morning we wake with clouds passing before our eyes
Do we endlessly see the fog gathering around us in endless embrace eternally
How is such a thing possible what did we do to deserve this did we commit a crime
Or are we but dominoes placed upon some undefined course incongruently aligned

  • In search of nirvana
    By james a. galgano

Where angels fear to tread upon windmills of time
While forever the winds of change cast spell upon minds
Without hope for escape one forever resigns with a purr
At the thought one day soon this might ever occur
There within the silhouettes of some forgotten place
One endlessly searches to discover such eternal grace
Surrendering all dreams to such heated flame we fly
Anticipating the blessed destination sought without knowing
    why

  • Taking flight to parts unknown
    By james a. galgano
Each forage for moonbeams dangling from stars above
Like lower lying fruit one often mistakes for love
Concealed within one passing glimpse one notes as divine
Submitting too easily to aspirations unfurled so sublime
Doubt clouds each vision what might occur if dreams come true
While one seems to be forever asleep along love’s avenue
Wishing to fall within some elusive embrace of passing time
There the heart remains forever, willing captive resigned
Longing for the warmth of some fateful touch upon heated brow
Where dreams grow wings and take flight to moonbeams allowed

Beyond where tears are unable to see tomorrow’s hope

    By james a. galgano

Here I am forever yours surrendered until day I die
Wanting you my forever though I am so old foolish inside
Like some aged fool I am captured within your love I need
    mine
Yet I am here so adrift knowing I am so old caught in time
Where one day I found you need you want you but who am I but
    old fool
What chance on earth do I have for your sweet love I now
    forever pursue
Perhaps you will make me yours as I want this would be
    divine though I am old
Yet if you ever give me one chance I hope all my efforts
will make me belong to you
I know I am so old yet once I found your delicious divine I
    forever knew
That even I am old once upon time if you ignore that I would
    belong your love true

    By james a. galgano
How can I sleep when I see your loving eyes I need you forever mine
Who am I to think me this old and ugly you would be eternally mine sublime
Maybe I stepped across some forbidden boundary where I longed you to be
Was I so foolish to think on day your love and life would be mine for eternity
The moment I found you upon my endless search at long last I knew I desired you
Even in my old foolish reflection I your view that never deserved your love I ensued
Like some endless addiction I wanted your love forever mine now eternally
Yet how on earth could this ever be I see my old reflection looking back at me
There was a time your love would be mine I know but now I know it will never be
So I forever wander alone lost wishing time would move backwards in perpetuity

  • Fisher king lost
    By james a. galgano
Whose immaculate wonder ever kissed my foolish face while asleep
Was I left alone to wonder searching for true life and love incomplete
Why do the questions within my mind gather like dust with each new day
Who cleans this debris and endless decay we never want to again see
How will it amount to more than nothing beneath shadow’s cross of Galilee
Is there all we seek within our pocketful of promises never kept as wished
Whose loaves do we gather here among the wanton though we never fished
When each fisherman throws their net into darkened sea they thought they knew
What reply was given to each struggling breath when in tow they forever pulled
Catch of day though nothing did reside but aimless hopes inside our thoughts undue

  • Politics entwined
    By james a. galgano
It is all politics entwined where gravitas is trumped, by those think they are divine
Or close to it within their delusional schemes playing upon fears and others dreams
When in reality nothing as it seems through the looking glass of kaleidoscope minds
Where inebriate fact checkers have their own axe to grind along tattered seams
Such is the plight of party politics where neither side is what it claims or seems
Each on play to their constituents desires yet either imbibe on the teat of wealth
There is no true focus on the needs of the masses for better jobs, education or health
Thus the scum not the cream often rise to the top to profess the right to lead
Even when election results determine victor not much will change or does indeed
Certainly there are the nuances, which reflect a different strain of the same infection
Developing policy to the base hopes or fears which guide human spirits direction

    By james a. galgano
Every avenue of lost souls filled with echoes forever wander lost
Each day and night left alone among the shadows dancing upon wall tossed
Like waves upon awaiting shoreline often for dreams which never come true
Within the realm of every passing memory often which haunts whole life through
Welcoming waywardly with caution each light through curtains blind
Seeking solace or perhaps some long sought answer to questions we never find
Caught within the net like catch of day longing to escape such precarious bind
Hoping often beyond all expectations one day such dreams soon come true

AS EACH FICKLED OF FINGER OF FATE INVASIVELY RELATES INEXACT
HOPING TO CONNECT TO SOME BOG WITHIN TO DISABLE AND PROSTRATE

TOMORROW DWELLED UNDEFINED, THEREUPON BENDED GLANCE DREAMS OBLIQUELY

  • Our endless search and claim
    By james a. galgano
Hope as so many fluttering wings upon which our dreams forever fly
Circling around each singing flame of light upon which we have come to rely
For a sign of salvation before we are consumed eternally by endless flames
Longing to find some sort of happiness where we will be able to stake our claim
Enabling our every effort to through every struggle finally secure a future evermore
Within humble hovel we suspect our lives to be just mere thread to life’s tapestry
Where upon closer look it would be so hard to find our place in passing time
Nevertheless we persevere no matter what obstruction is met along each incline
As we like Sisyphus push our burden up life’s ascending wall every day and night
Towards some hopeful destination one day soon found and enjoyed by singing light
Where our daily lives still endlessly flutter like moths around unwelcoming flame
Aspiring forever to one day soon discover or at long last find our home and claim
