Panoply of life forgotten
By james a. galgano
Life cried eternal deaths within passing time deferred
There loved ones met their death within shadows so uncured
Like some un-described disease where one wonders for true
light
By chance one day soon in time beneath each and every night
Though moon shadows quiver left to wonder what might never
be
Lost within the foolish vernacular of some wanton like
disease
Though no cure is ever found words from empty pulpit spoken
as profound
Echo from humble walls within sacristy less than divine
reviewed
Where once upon one thought if found truth would be renewed
so to speak
Such is the glimpse of forgotten rhyme lost upon descending
peak
There sun will never find each lie where words offered seem
so weak
There destiny sought wavers like foolish clowns within life’s
three ring circus
Though there may be some thought profound in the end there
is no purpose
