Vijnana Bharati and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government
of India, areorganizing ‘India International Science Festival (IISF)’
from 4th to 8th December 2015. The festival aims to provide a platform
to young scientists from all over the country to share and spread their

The Expo aims to showcase innovations, achievements, advancements and
futuristic models related to science and technology and provide an
interactive platform for scientists, artists, designers, innovators etc.
The expo would highlight art, culture and traditions depicting
scientific temper and emphasize inter-dependence of
science-technology-innovation and society.
As part of the scientific outreach programme, IISF would target
involving a very large number of science students from many schools in
New Delhi and surrounding places for conducting hands-on practical
laboratory demonstration experiments.
Youth can transform the future only if they have the required skills,
health, decision-making abilities and real choices in life.The event
would also be effective in promoting scientists-students interactions.
Best technical papers, preferably one from each sub-theme, adjudged by a
team of juries would qualify for awards as incentives.

INDUSTRYT ACADEMIA CONCLAVE : The objective is to provide a
post-academic knowledge environment and industry exposure, thus enabling
students to become career-ready. Visit www.iisfdelhi.org
This session is being organised with the objectives of films as a tool
for science education, scientific innovations and success stories. This
would include screening of contemporary and globally acclaimed science
films, developing digital tools to reach science & technology to
rural areas, science film making competition for college students and
exploring modern science communication techniques.
Concurrent with IISF 2015, NLEPC would also be organized during December
06-07, 2015. In this event, 800 school students (Class VI – X) selected
on State level scientific projects development-cum-demonstration will
showcase the innovative models, which would be judged for the best 60
projects on the first day. Among these three would ultimately be
selected for the top awards
