heartbeat of a person stops immediately. About 3.5 lacs of cardiac arrest
incidents take place in the workplace or outside of a medical facility in the
United States. Another aspect to worry about is that more than half of cardiac
arrest patients do not receive basic life support or BLS before the arrival of
the ambulance.
