Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is the first Thanksgiving that I and my family have spent without Rusty since 2003. Those of you who remember me from way back, we also had 2 cocker spaniel dogs back before 2003: Peaches, a female, and Max a male. Both were put to sleep. Peaches had a skin condition, and Max was very ill and wasn't expected to make it. In July or August of 2003, we got Rusty, our German Shepard who is a "King Shepard," and Dotte, who is a Toy Fox Terrier. Though she is sad about Rusty's passing, she is alive and well and in good health. Also, many years ago, like right before I was born in 1977, we had a German Shepard named Duke. He died after my birth. He was very sick.

Here's an example of how hot it is today: half-way to work (walking), I was sweating. When I got to work, a co-worker saw. Stay cool and hydrated and drink plenty of water. It's going to be a scorcher
