Some most used carpet cleaning techniques
For the following techniques, as the carpet will get wet, be
careful to prevent the colors from disgorging and mixing. You must first try
the product in question in a small corner of the carpet. And always moisten
around the center of the treated area.
Tip It's Clean (on M6): with a mixture composed of 2/3 cold
water and 1/3 ammonia, rub on the stain with a clean sponge, stamp the carpet
with a dry linen to absorb dirt; rinse and wring the sponge several times and
then repeat the cleaning operation; rinse with a sponge soaked in vinegar water
and dry with a hair dryer. This technique is used in particular to clean wool
carpets.
with soapy water: scrub the carpet with a sponge soaked in
soapy water then rinse with vinegar water and
allow to dry. This technique is to be used especially if the carpet is not of
great value.
