Paralegal A paralegal with an L1 License from the Law Society advocates for clients in the lower courts and tribunals in the province. They have professional obligations to their clients of loyalty and competency necessary to serve their clients best interests. This requires excellent communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, organizational and managerial skills. Paralegals must also, at all times, be professional and ethical.
