Went fishing 🎣 in 75 degrees Gropp’s Lake this evening in the rain 🌧️ during a nor’easter. Threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then missed a good bite on corn 🌽 bait. All three hooks were bare after I reeled in my line. Didn’t get a bite with my homemade corn meal bait. Caught and released a bluegill while ultralight jigging. Hooked a largemouth bass that jumped, then threw the lure. Saw a pair of great blue heron do a flyby but didn’t get a photo. A few minnows and fish 🐠 jumped. Five fishermen arrived as I was leaving.
