Fearless Fishing Report for Jan. 9 (#Islamorada, FL):Today we fished a half day. We started off trying to catch live bait but a school of jack came through yesterday and ate them all. So we anchored down on the #Reef and caught some #Yellowtail #Snapper for dinner. We then trolled some dead #Ballyhoo around the #Reef and had lots of #Barracuda action. Fearless Fishing Report for Dec. 20 (#Islamorada, FL):Today we fished a full day and we started off sailfishing. After a little while we had a couple of #Sailfish bites that came off. Shortly after we finally hooked up with a double header! We caught and released both of them! We then anchored down and caught some nice #Yellowtail #Snapper for dinner and a big #Bonito ate one of our Yellowtail rods! Wind started off at around 10 knots and then dropped out to nothing. Fearless Fishing Report for Dec. 19 (#Islamorada, FL):Today was the second day fishing with Mark and his brother. They had to drive home today so we fished a 3/4 day. The day started out busy. We put the kites up, but shortly realized that there were some warbirds going nuts inshore of us, so we decided to go check it out. It was a couple showering #Sailfish. The guys were able to get a bait to them. We hooked and caught one! As soon as we let the fish go another #sailfish came in chasing #Ballyhoo around not too far away. We raced over and with another good cast we had our second sailfish on for the day! We then were able to catch two more in the kites. Fun day! Fearless Fishing Report for Dec. 18 (#Islamorada, FL):Today we fished a full day. We caught plenty of live bait for the kites. It started off a little slow, but eventually we hooked up with a #Sailfish! As we were fighting that one we hooked another on the long bait. After a couple of minutes that one jumped off. We caught and released the other one. We were getting ready to reset our kite bait when we realized something had just taken our last bait we had out. It was another Sailfish! We caught that one. It started off kind of slow, but eventually we had our first #Sailfish on! It was a big one and we fought him for over an hour. We eventually caught and released him. We then reset and after a little while we hooked another one that then turned into a double. It made for some excitement!
