Hole Sizes - Another difference between badminton and volleyball is the size of the holes in the net. Badminton has much smaller holes (1.9 cm by 3.9 cm) than volleyball (10 cm by 10 cm). This means it is easier for us to see what’s happening on the other side of the net as we can see more of the movements of our opponent. It is also important to note the hole sizes are different for men’s and women’s nets.
