Arabist, academician, dean of the Faculty of Oriental Languages ​​of St. Petersburg University. He is the founder of the "new school of Russian oriental studies" at the end of the 19th century.
📖Martynov Dmitry Evgenievich
Historian, Sinologist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Altaistics and Sinology, IMO KFU. Under the leadership of D.E. Martynov, scientific research is carried out, supported by grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, devoted to the history of Russian university oriental studies.He is a renowned specialist in the study of the intellectual history of China, the history of Sinology.
