The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) will soon prepare a detailed proposal for Hi-tech City which is to come up near Ganga barrage on Kanpur-Unnao border. The Hi-Tech City, proposed on 1,132 acres of land in the trans-Ganga area of the city, will be an enclosed area, which will be built along the Ganga. It would be equipped with underground wiring, cabling, gas and water supply, apart from optical fibre lines and other amenities. Apart from 28- to 35-floor multi-storeyed buildings, the proposed project will also accommodate a 300 acre park.
