La La Land does it again! The musical, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, picked up 14 Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Director. Aside from getting so many nominations, the film also tied with 1997's Titanic and the 1950 film, All About Eve.

Arrival and Moonlight picked up eight nominations while Hacksaw Ridge, Lion and Manchester By the Sea grabbed six each.

On the music front, Justin Timberlake received a nomination for "Can't Stop the Feeling!," from Trolls. He will go up against Lin-Manuel Miranda's "How Far I'll Go" from Moana, "The Empty Chair" by J. Ralph and Sting for Jim: The James Foley Story and  two tunes from La La Land: "Audition" and "City of Stars."
