We bring the WWE party to these cities that are ready to host epic celebrations!
London, England
WWE has never held a WrestleMania outside of the US or Canada. We’re clearly at a point to change that. When WWE officials finally decide to give an international country a shot at the biggest show of the year, London better be at the top of the list!
By now, many of you know that UK fans are some of the most passionate and vocal fans wrestling has. Doesn’t matter if the show is on the East Coast or West Coast, every year thousands of these loyal fans head across the pond and put down their money to attend the week-long WrestleMania celebration. They’ve even made the RAW following WrestleMania theirs, hijacking the show with outrageous chants and singing. Could you imagine what would happen if London got a WrestleMania? It’d be a crowd like no other. Beautiful crazed-energy that would deliver a show you’d never forget.
So far, the biggest wrestling event London has held was SummerSlam in 1992, which took place in Wembley Stadium. More recently the city’s hosted NXT TakeOver: London, which showcased the crowd’s famous enthusiasm. Using the London (Olympic) Stadium, which served home to the 2012 Summer Olympics, London certainly has the venue to host WWE’s biggest spectacle.
