Of all things, her performance is a collaboration with Intel.
Rejoice, Monsters: Lady Gaga will perform at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
Whatever she has in store will be a collaboration with Intel, as CEO Brian Krzanich announced during its keynote at the Consumer Electronics Show. He showed a video featuring Mother Monster herself, where she promised a "performance that inspires to remind the world of the seed of innovation, the wizard behind the curtain, the mind behind the machine"—though not, you know, which songs she plans to sing.
As of late Lady Gaga has actually been on the small screen; she stars in American Horror Story: Hotel as The Countess. But she has also been recording with the likes of legendary disco bassist Nile Rodgers and retro producer Mark Ronson. Her new music—and Grammy performance—could well be a return to her dance roots, after she transformed into a jazz standards singer for her 2014 collaborative album with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek.
