Kanye West's protégé wanders around a freak show.

Houston rapper (and Justin Bieber favorite) Travis $cott navigates a freak show in his "Antidote" video. He stares at caged dancers, smokes nearby a ringleader with a painted clown face and watches as someone gets arrested. But he isn't at all bothered by the strange sights—that's the point.

"Antidote" appears on his debut Rodeo, which just topped the rap albums chart and hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Prior to Rodeo's September 26 release, Travis has been pegged as Kanye West's protégé—he's signed to G.O.O.D. Music as a producer and T.I.'s Grand Hustle as an solo artist—but insists that he has more creative control than some critics think.

"I’m a kid from Houston, Texas who left to find myself, to find my creative mission," Travis tells W. "This album is that journey—it’s me figuring out who I am. I also feel like it’s a blueprint to help kids figure out what they want to do. It’s going to help stimulate creativity and spark your brain." See if the "Antidote" video does just that by watching below.
