It's been a good five months since we last heard from Sarah Koenig's hit podcast, Serial. But Koenig and her producer Julie Snyder are about to fix that: The pair just announced that Season 2 will be debuting in the fall. Season 3 has also been secured and will be be unveiled in Spring 2016.

We know what you're thinking: Yeah, but do we know what the seasons will be about yet? Sorry, nope. Koenig and Snyder are opting for secrecy still at the moment, just stating that “They’re very different from Season One, but no less interesting to us.”

In the meantime, if you're wondering where Season 1 subject Adnan Syed is up to these days, it's actually not looking too bad for his case for freedom.
