Angeline Butler Honored by"The Institute for International Leadership, Non-Violence, & Service, www.GandhiKingSFN.com. Lindy Peter Crescitelli and Committee of SFN presented Angeline Butler with the Gandhi/King Season for Nonviolence Award on April 4th, 2019 at The New York Society for Ethical Culture auditorium. Participating were presentations & performances by Student Leaders from: Wadleigh High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Manhattan, Vista Academy Middle School from East NY in Brooklyn, Rotary International Students from North Brunswick, Roselle Park and Edison High Schools in New Jersey, City University of New York C.S. I. Liberty Partnerships program form Staten Island, and the Global Institute Students of Mater Dei Prep high School from New Jersey. "What a grand event" says Angeline Butler. "What talent exhibited through Poetry, Dance, Hip Hop, Song and Meditation these young beautiful people. I have never been so honored in this way! I was moved to tears for weeks afterwards."

Angeline Butler appeared at the Pete Seeger 100th Birthday Celebration at the "Clearwater Festival" at Croton on the Hudson with Evan T. Pritchard's "Tribal Harmony" team, Saturday, June 15th, 2019. She performed in the Cherokee language her arrangement of "Amazing Grace" with chanted translations and in English at the Evening Workshop/Stories at 7:30pm, accompanied by Dennis Yerry. She was scheduled fro the Rainbow Stage, but the concert went overtime and she and Seminole performer Lonnie Harrington were featured at the Workshop/Stories event. Angeline says "This was more fun, because the two of them had more time to perform on stage to a more intimate audience under a large tent!"
